SUMMER!

No, no, it's not summer. What I meant was that I made my very fist Polyvore set called Summer! Hip Hip Hooray! I never really knew what the Polyvore website was all about. But I know now that it is so awesome! If you were like me two days ago, not knowing what Polyvore is, well it is an ah-ma-zing website that allows you to create your very own fashion sets. How cool is that?! Just check out the website: www.polyvore.com

This was my first set, and I entered the Dress-A-Friend Fridays! Dedicated to Astri (hellogoodbyez.blogspot.com)

I searched up subscription prices for Australia and I was so shocked. It was $72 for two issues on magshop.com.au. That's so exx! So now I need to ask, does anyone know where to get it cheaper or does anyone have an issue they are willing to sell at a reasonable price?

crash

Currently feeling really guilty. Two days ago, I downloaded some file from the net. I had opened it and got what I wanted but there were some other unnecessary files. Files that I should have deleated but as my usual self, procrastinated to do so. So then my dad came in and wanted to use the comp. I logged of and forgot about the files and BOOM. The computer crashed while he was using it. We sent it for repair and the technician said that the hard drive was damaged. Dad is going to have to buy a new hard drive but the up-side of all this is that the new one would have one terabyte of memory. One terabyte! Meaning one thousand gigabytes. WOOHOO! Anyway the lesson learnt is to always deleate files that are not needed and check for viruses.

Anyway, yesterday we had a board-game-day at Astri's house! Oh and it was also Ilma's birthday! She's so old, hahahha. We played games such as Pictionary, Life!, Cranium and Jenga Truth or Dare! It was so fun! Did I mention that Astri made lasagne for us? Well she did! So goooood.

Today I had a massive Sex and the City marathon. Don't laugh at me but, I finally learnt the proper way to pronoune Hermès! It's pronounced at air-mez and not her-mees! And Mum's bread in the oven is smelling goooooooood! hahaha

honey honey

Hmmm, what have I been doing for the past three days you ask? Well, I slept over at Lauren's house last night. We ate dinner at a Japanese restaurant that was nearby her house. It was my first time being there, even though my dad always talks about how good it is. The restaurant took me by surprise because it was tiny! Literally, the sitting area was smaller than Lauren's kitchen. (or even my own kitchen!) This meant that we had to wait a while to get a table! So the lady told us we had to wait about 20 minutes. So we went to the supermarket that was near it. When we went back, a group of people were leaving and you know what happens? A stupid lady cut the queue and took our table. BITCH! We complained to the lady but she didn't even know what to do. But I guess it didn't matter because Karma will bite her in the ass. So we just waited for another 20 minutes. Good thing was, the food was so yuuum! We ordered Shoyu Ramen, Agedashi Tofu, Tempura Prawn Sushi and sweet Green Tea. Oishi!

When we went back Lauren and Rachel started practicing their dance that they have to perform next month. After that we watched one of the Thai horror movies which I brought. But to make the movie seem even better, we had to make popcorn! Since the only flavour you could get from the supermarket is normal butter, we decided to drizzle some honey on it! It was the best!

Lauren drizzling the honey. Smells good!

Voilà!

The movie that we watch was called Cadaver. I was really disappointed because the movie was not as scary as I thought. The storyline itself was really stupid! And therefore, I do not recommend you to ever watch that movie.

After that we didn't know what to do but it just so happened that there was a movie that was near Lauren's Playstation. I still don't know the name of it but it was really funny. It starred Robin Williams, a gay who owned a club with his partner. This movie was so funny and it was so much better than the previous.

On Sunday, there a Retro Market was being held in Northbridge. It was my second time going there and they sell a lot of vintage objects such as accessories, records, magazines and mainly clothing. I bought a pink tank for $5! Lauren bought a really awesome pair of earrings the shape of a machine gun!

Lauren and Rachel trying on really furry hats! (Later we found out that they were real fur and we never touched them again.)

We went to Sportsgirl and saw really cute earmuffs! Wonder if I should buy them to wear this winter.

And then we went to Icey Ice! We shared a peanut butter crêpe. It was so messy. Took a random photo of the table. (I know it doesn't look that messy but, if you were there, there were a lot of crumbs!)

addictions

I'M SO ADDICTED TO LITTLEBIGPLANET! But maybe this addiction will go away. I think I haven't told you about my addiction to other things. Things like a really awesome band from Germany. Hint* hint* to all my friends (; TOKIO HOTEL! Well, it wasn't exactly an addiction to the band but actually the front-man, Bill Kaulitz. I'm sure that this is just a phase that most girls go into when they're in high school but who am I to know. I love their music especially World Behind My Wall, from their new album and 1000 Meere, from a previous album. Curious to listen to their music? Search them up on Youtube!

Oh
and did I mention that Bill and Tom are identical twins? Cool right? (:

frozen

OHMYGOSH! LittleBigPlanet is my favourite game from today onwards! I especially love Sackboy's (the little guy who you can dress up and play around with) facial expressions! It's just way over dramatic which makes him so adorable! I played this game for the first time ever and I just couldn't stop! Astri and Olivia came over to play it too, as well as my little brother! It was so fun and i guess you could call us addicts!

Right above is Sackboy! So adorable!

But, of course, we took a break from the game for a little while. So what did we do? We went SWIMMING!

The weather was quite warm compared to the past few days. We assumed the pool would be cool and refreshing but still quite warm. Oh, how we were wrong. The water was freezing! We only stayed in the pool for 15 minutes and taking a nice hot shower right after never felt better.

Just checked Facebook and saw that there was going to be a Vintage Sale in North Perth! THANKYOU SHERLYNN!

swedish meatballs

Went to Ikea today! Woohoo! After convincing my mum and dad, we ate lunch there! Finally able to eat the delicious Swedish meatballs with cranberry sauce! I shared this chocolate-nut cake with my dad and it was good!

After that, nothing much happened except I was having a Sex and The City marathon because I had to return it today. SATC is so funny! I love Carrie! Aka, Sarah-Jessica Parker. (If you don't know who she is, search her up on Google!) Well at the video store, I was able to rent Little Big Planet for Playstation 3! I'm really excited to play it now but I'm currently watching Saving Private Ryan on Channel 7. Tatas!

better than mama

Woke up really early today! Met Astri at Hoyts to buy our tickets for The Last Song! Sarah was so lucky because she arrived when we were at the front of the line! Jasmine hadn't arrived yet so we just walked around Garden City. Astri and Sarah went to buy Boost juice but I didn't because I was still really full from my breakfast. (Which consisted of one slice of home-made bread and a fat peppery sausage!) Sarah and I showed the new Bardot store to Astri, which is right next to Sportsgirl. (Yeah, it finally opened! Well, it opened on Thursday but I was hoping that there would be an opening sale or something like that!) Well anyway, the movie was going to start soon so we went to the cinemas and waited for our show to start. Jasmine finally arrived when the movie was about to start. The movie starred Miley Cyrus and some other guy, I forgot his name.

The movie overall was pretty good however, there was one thing that really annoyed the crap out of me. That was Miley Cyrus' pout (no offence to all you Miley fans.) It pissed me off a lot whenever you saw her mouth and what made it worse was that she did it right through the movie. ARGH!

When the movie was over we went to eat waffles! And what made it even better was that because it was Tuesday, it's was Half-Price at Gelare! Thanks Jasmine who bought it for us! Ordered Vanilla Bean ice-cream and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough! Yum, yum.

Then we went over to Jasmine's! I didn't know she had a Wii so I was extremely excited when I saw it! So we immediately played Wii Fit and it was fun! The balancing game was so hard and what was harder than that was the zen guy game! Just having to sit there without moving while people tried to distract you was very difficult. Then we played Cooking Mama. We played this for ages and time flew by so quickly! Me and Sarah were versing each other and I won the first game. This was most probably beginner's luck because I continued to lose right through to the end. Astri was very into the game and she was so excitable! When we gave up on the game, we watched an all-time chick flick classic, Mean Girls. It was funny and Astri kept laughing right through the movie! Even before the funny bits, she would already start laughing!

When I went home, I went to watch Quarantine with my dad. It was a lot more thrilling than I expected because before watching this movie, I wasn't really into the camera-shaking-like-someone-actually-was-there sort of movie. But I did think that there were some moments were I thought it was funny!

Oh and, I really need to go post up the photos from the Lady Gaga concert! I'm such a procrastinator.
