simply perfect

Today was the best Monday for this term. Half-day of school for everyone! WOOHOO! Went to Garden City with my lovelies and just hanged around. Bought chips with Astri at Big Dippers. YUMM. After that we walked to Woolworths to go buy Golden Gaytime. It was me and Astri's first time trying it and it was yummy! Pretty sure it is Olivia's favourite ice-cream! Oh and, Olivia bought it for us hahaha. (Felt like such a freeloader!) Later, we just walked around and hanged at Sportsgirl for a while. Really loved these heels!

Cute right?!

Put lots of random clothes on Jasmine, as usual, and found an retro scarf for her to wear! hahaha. She said that it looked really Asian, which it did in a way. Astri wore awesome sunnies which looked a little bit like Lady Gaga's. Made her seem so adorable!

Sarah's cute hat and Jasmine's weird style!

At the Reject Shop, Astri bought Cadbury Chocolate and Sarah bought sour stuff! Later we went to the park! Sad thing was, Olivia didn't go with us. But we still had fun! Wished she was with us though.

We listened to music, did drawings and tried to do handstands!

The funniest thing happened while I was sitting on the swings! When I first got on it, it was really hot so I was only partially sitting on it. So when it wasn't as hot, I tried to sit on it properly. That was when the most random-est thing happened. Instead of sitting on it comfortably, I FELL OFF! So that meant that my leg was still on the swing with my head brushing against the sand! Super embarrassing, Sarah and Astri couldn't stop laughing! Luckily though, Jasmine didn't see! hahaha

Went home at around 4 o'clock. Lazed around the house and read magazines when my mum said, "What type of bread do you want to make?" Which in other words meant, "Are you going to make bread or am I going to have to do it?" And so, for the first time, I made bread. By myself!

Delicious looking, isn't it? HAHAH

Before,

and after! If you can't see the difference, well, it expanded!

smells so good!

what i do on saturdays.

Yesterday, Olivia and I went to the city! Wore my sparkly, shiny stockings for the first time yesterday! Well, they aren't sparkly or shiny but they were the new Gothic-like ones I was talking about a few days ago! Lots of people were staring at them, my legs, but I wasn't quite sure whether they were staring because they looked chic or they made me look like a freak. I should have taken a photo to let you be the judge of that but I forgot to bring my camera! AGAIN! Anyway, we went to a couple of stores in Northbridge. Saw some wacky stuff in Vinnies and vintage clothing at Lala Orange. Olivia and I saw a really cute pair of high-waisted denim shorts at Fi & Co. but they were way out of our budget! So we walked out and feeling hungry, we went and bought a bun at a Chinese bakery close by! Tt was yumm! And while we were still eating, we walked into Icey-Ice. HAHAH. Looked like total pigs. BUT IT WAS YUM OKAY! Walked around a bit more and we tried to look for the Perth Upmarket. We went to look for the street that it was supposed to be on but we couldn't find it! We walked the complete opposite direction and it was so, so, so windy! Our hair flew until it looked like we had a bird's nest on our heads! (Okay, it wasn't that bad but it was a figure of speech!) In the end, we didn't go to the Upmarket because it was around 5 o'clock and we were far, far away from it.

freebies

Today my entire Sose class and I, went to the Perth Convention Centre for an excursion. The main purpose of the excursion was to encourage students to go in the career path of engineering. For me, it was pretty boring. But the highlight of it was the freebies that the convention centre offered! Sherlynn showed her true asian colours today. Wondering why? Because she went crazy for the:

FREE food
FREE pen
FREE goodies
FREE eye-candy

What a fun excursion right?! Ran like crazy around the convention trying to grab as much freebies as we could! Even our group leader encouraged us to take stuff! Oh and the eye-candy? A really cute guy who also went to there! Sherlynn and I freaking whenever we saw him! HAHAHHA. Anyway, here's a list on what was available for the freeloaders, aka, us!:

PENS! Nearly every exhibit had them! Some even lighted up!
CANDY! Such as Mentos or their very own mints, some sucked though. Rock candy had little anchors in them. YUM!
SUNSCREEN! So weird right?! Oh well, grabbed one of those!
FANS! The oriental type from China! Well, the lady working there didn't seem to be wanting to give it to us. But Kimberly, Sarah and Sherlynn grabbed one when she wasn't looking. HAHAHA
ANTI-STRESSORS! There were four different types. The silver ball anti-stressor, the globe anti-stressor, the black oil barrel anti-stressor and lastly, a bright yellow HIPPO anti-stressor! Unfortunately, we weren't able to get our hands on that.
HATS! Available in fluoro green, yellow, black and HOT PINK! Ran out of stock though!
DRINKS! You want cappuchino or hot chocolate?
RANDOM STATIONERY! Sticky labels, high-lighters and rulers that looked dangerous!
BAGS! Coming with none, leaving with 10!

There were many others as well but I cannot be bothered listing them. Did I mention that sitting, listening to people giving speeches was very distracting? All because right through it, Sherlynn kept on saying, "I'M HUNGRY!", or "THE MEAT PIES ARE SO GOOD! *pause* KETCHUP!", or "THERE'S ANOTHER PLATE GOING AROUND! MEAT PIESSS!" HAHAHAHHAA.

dilly-dallying

It was very tiring today. Why? Because of all the hypo dancing last night! The River Cruise went on for 3 hours and it was crazy! Maybe I should write a catch up on what I did yesterday before I go into the details of the River Cruise. It will be very short so don't worry! Well yesterday, I had an appointment with my orthodontist. I needed his opinion on what I should do with my teeth. You see, on the right side jaw/mouth, I only have half a tooth, thanks to me falling unconscious in the middle of the night last year. Oh and I also got 6 stitches on my chin. MY CHIN! Well back to the point, he said it would be better if I were to put on braces rather than implanting a new tooth. And because I was going to get braces, he had to make a mould for my teeth. When the orthodontist had placed it over my bottom jaw and tried the take it out, it wouldn't budge! So I had this massive metal/plaster thing in my mouth and it made me panic like crazy! SO FREAKED! Luckily, after minutes of struggle, he managed to take it out. Phew.

ANYWAY, after the appointment, went over to Sherlynn's to get ready for the RC! Sherlynn and I were totally freaking out because there wasn't much time. Many little disasters happened along the way but we were eventually ready. Not surprisingly, Sarah was ready ages before us! So was Meagan! Here's a little photo of us finally ready!

And heaps more photos on the cruise!

Heaps and heaps of dancing, this year's RC was so fun! Just loved it. It was so hot inside but when I went outside, it was so refreshing. Oh and did I mention it was Chris' birthday yesterday? Chris if you are reading this,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
(even though I said it 30489752083 times already!)

summer is officially over.

Reading a magazine while it was raining was very calming and soothing. Halfway through though, there was a sudden amount of crashing noises outside. Curious, I went to take a look and i was suddenly excited! There were so many hail stones! EVERYWHERE!

at the front of the house. the grass looked worse than ever after that.

And here's a random photo of my lil bro cleaning up the carpet after spilling cookies and cream ice cream on the floor.

Saw the coolest nails ever on theseams.blogspot.com. Maybe I'll do it for the River Cruise this Wednesday! What do you think?

Oh and I stumbled upon this lovely photo,

O.M.G RIGHT?! absolute heaven.

lazy sunday afternoons

Went to the city and ate Dim-Sum this morning with my family. Returned home and made Madelines. They are sweet little sponge cakes with a unique shape and had an exciting tang from the orange zest. Well, they were supposed to be. Mine turned out looking like they had little aliens in the centre waiting for the right moment to jump out! The sides were burnt and the centre was only partially cooked. Funny thing was, my bro ate them all. He must have been very, very hungry.

Oh and,

I really want these Miu Miu heels! They're so adorable!

kit kat ♥

Rachel's over right now and we're currently eating Kit Kat. Green Tea flavour. How awesome is that?! Bought them from my previous Japan trip. Love green tea and chocolate? Make sure you give it a try when you go to Japan! Anyway, today we celebrated Jason's birthday party by karaoke-ing! It was so fun and his birthday cake was so awesome!
His mum made the birthday cake and it's personalised with all of the people who attended his party!

The party was so fun and it was so noisy! Chris' singing was the scariest and loudest, accompanied by crazy dancing. HAHAHA
. Took a lot of photos as well but sadly, I forgot to bring my camera. So all the photos in this post are from Kimberly

Before the party, I was watching The Notebook. (You know, the movie starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling) Sarah and Astri told me to go watch it so I made my daddy rent it for me from Civic Video. I've only watched it half way but since Rachel is over, I might start over. Tatas!

Well anyway, today Sherlynn, Meagan and I went to the city! Sherlynn bought a really cute pair of stockings to wear for the river cruise next week. I bought a pair too but mine's Gothic-like. Excited by the thought of me wearing it! hahaha.

But I really need to save money. At this rate, my back account is gonna hit $0 in the next month or so. Anyone hiring?

CRAZY GIRL DESPERATELY NEEDING A JOB!

Maybe I'll go job hunting these holidays.

fresh

Finally decided to start a blog. (Thanks Sherlynn for the name!) Well, a blog that I will commit to. Started a blog previously with Astri but never did anything on it and so, it eventually died. Anyway, I have been really interested in fashion lately! I don't know whats with the sudden craze but it's all I can think about! I like looking at fashion blogs, magazines and sometimes watching FTV on Foxtel! If you know any websites that I must read, please comment! I'll post some pictures later on but right now, I'm going to go take a shower and get ready for the Japanese Exchange meeting.
Loves!
